Linda Houle and Lisa Rene' Smith founded L&L Dreamspell, a small press based near Houston, Texas, in the Fall of 2006. From the very beginning they never wanted to be a "book packager" or "subsidy press" but rather a small, traditional royalty paying press. L&L Dreamspell does publish some non-fiction, including writer's guidebooks, cookbooks, and a few other non-fiction topics. However we felt a separate imprint was needed to cover more serious subject matter - so in the Fall of 2009, Wisdom Trends was born! We strive to enlighten and inspire readers with this new imprint of the L&L Dreamspell publishing company.
